Interesting Couple Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Interesting Couple

Interesting couple

Korean was husband
and black was the maid.

"Take us out…" they asked me.

Had left bar and club:
"Not for us…want mature…
they are young…"

So we talked; talked for long
just three, sat in car.

Now, next day and midday
not as was at midnight
I think of:
the young girls and young guy
good-looking and alive
well made-up for the time
fashioned hair, a bowl but upside-down
lipstick, perfume, and jeans holed.

Look at me you lady and young lad
(you who thinks knows it all,)
don't take them, (the older,)
as the "lame and blind…"

I am back to school
(among you) so hear:
"classmates open eyes, "
I can see, look too far.

Understand?
The questions must linger:
"Where are we? "
"Where am I? "
