Internal Rhyme - Poem by Barry Middleton

I wondered what you wondered
when I lacked imagination

and I wondered how you took it
when I did not have the time

youth is such a frail duration
many mountains we must climb

still I offer this ovation
on my way to the sublime

I always did my best
to help you find internal rhyme
