INTERNET FRIEND

Have I ever told you this story,
Of how I met a friend?
I just got on the Internet
And I clicked a spot marked send.

I got back a short question
Saying, 'Who the heck are you? '
I said, I'd received a message
And had decided to follow through.

Isn't it just a miracle
That we found each other there
For, now, instead of being a lonely 'One'
We are a cheerful 'Pair'.

Each day we share an E-mail
Maybe a joke or two..
Thank God, I received that message
And gained a friend, like YOU! ! ! ! ! !
