Introspection
Like yesterday,
Another day passed today;
Like yesterday,
I didn't do much today.
In retrospect,
When I look back at thousands of days
That I had since my birthday;
I didn't do much
Of which I would be proud today.
When I introspect,
I hear myself say:
Perhaps, till yesterday,
You didn't know
What you wanted to do;
Find out today, and do
What you want to do;
Of which you may be proud;
One day.
