Introspection: Appeal For Revival Poem by Abinash Jena

Introspection: Appeal For Revival

I have been standing here for a long period
Like a way side immovable threshold
My Identity is unknown to me
As if I m separate subject free.

Nevertheless the time has slowed down
Once my Identity was pleasant brown,
Beauty and Radiance of mine was charming
Abundant was here the flawless carving.

Outer scenario was of brilliance
Fenced boundary wall was at glance
Lied was there garden at co-ordinates
Were glowing trees and flower beds.

Wondering beauty was instilled within me
There a family was living with glee,
Ambience of mine was filled with clamour
Pleasure and joy had been owed enamor.

Sombre stepped in on due course of time
Clamour was vanished thus concluded rhyme,
Collapsed pinnacle of sorrow over the family
Sudden catastrophe took all lives in a ferry.

Felt as my heart beat was impeded
Seemed as destiny upon me had faded,
Plotted as grave conspiracy upon me
My vindicate guilt hadn't pardoned me free.

Core of my heart became sole inert
Making me alone thus melancholy gulped,
My heart cries in grief of separation
Losing my Identity in course of time lone.

Undesired neither I m nor useless
Inanity of visitors render pain in vessels,
Each limb of mine has gone decrepit
Has become corpse losing elegance nd beat.

Public outcry portrays me abandoned
No-one ever visits to express broad,
Rumour raises me as "spirits' abode"
Nobody approaches out of shiver bode.

All rumour outcries are bogus gossips
I m ready to express through flips,
Don't humiliate me assume as dear
Present me my lost Identity of tear.
