Invisable Poem by gabby chamberland

Invisable

Rating: 4.5

never am i seen
never am I heard
not that I mind
never again will I utter a word

my world is one of secrets forever kept
and needs for comfort so sourly met

I am called the keeper of wishes that never come true
and the giver of chances to whom wish to start anew

my life is no longer of importance
stealthily observing others in dismay
I long for a latter day

since a welcoming unwanted
my reflection has long been forgotten

the color of my eyes?
the years that have gone by?
these inquisitions hang in the air
unanswered and hard to bear

for now I try to remember what it was like to be free
before the crushing clutch of He
