Invisible Girl Poem by Jasmine Thompson

Invisible Girl

They always walk past
Don’t even wave or nod
They leave me hanging there
Always afraid and scared

It was because of him
It was because of her
I had to be in between them
When he fell for her

It broke my heart in two
Him drooling over you
While you just walked on by
Always catching his eye

You left him there
Alone and sad
I tried so hard
To give him everything I had

He pushed me down
He walked right over me
He broke my heart
Don’t you see?

Now you both ignore me
Alone in your own worlds.
Now I'll always be
That invisible girl.
