Invitation To The Dance Whilst Hoovering. Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Invitation To The Dance Whilst Hoovering.

Rating: 5.0

I hum
(whilst hovering)

Oh... nothing could be finer
than to be

in Carolina
in the morning!

Carolina smiles.

“Come over here & say
that! ”

I do...& she do too!

We cuddle up
like buttercups

& give life & zest
to the old lyrics

make the song
come
true.

'Making the old song come true....' Does this play really work? If so, I know one I plan to sing for someone....
