Iron Man! Poem by Denis Martindale

Iron Man!

Tony Stark was a billionaire, a patriot as well,
While Iron Man had cash to spare, he often raised pure hell.
But once the hero, he began to set a brand new path,
He was much more than Iron Man, not doing things by half.
Computing power came to bear, solutions came each day,
A better suit that he could wear, better in every way.

He funded the Avengers, too, improving everyone,
With the courage to see things through, to do what must get done.
To challenge every thought they had, 'Is that all that you've got? '
He's sometimes good! He's sometimes bad! And yet he cares a lot.
Thanks to his super-powered brain, his answers guide the team,
Yes, over and over again, with wonders thought supreme!

Tony's not one in a million! He's so much more than that!
You see, he's one in a billion, a true aristocrat!
While many folks look up to him as he goes flying by,
His enemies, of course, look grim! No need to ask them why.
He fights to win and seldom fails! One brain, one suit, one plan!
As strong as steel! As tough as nails! That's why he's Iron Man!

Here is a superhero poem by the Poemhunter poet Denis Martindale. The title is IRON MAN! In his new poem, he describes the amazing development of Tony Stark before he creates his original iron suit of armour and then designs a new suit so he has the power to fly across the sky. The Avengers team truly is a team of superheroes, not just relying on arm-to-arm combat skills. Even so, Tony is not just a rich guy. He is incredibly intelligent and uses computers to test many of his amazing theories. To many, he is just a man in a fancy suit. Just a playboy, a party dude, a rich man but otherwise, not much of a man. He aims to prove them wrong. And he often does!
