Ironies Of Life Poem by Dennis Go

Ironies Of Life

The heart weighs more than the sea,
The soul - deeper than the ocean.
Rivers flow, dishev'ling the rocks
But not a man's emotion.
Vastly, how vastly life perceives.
My soul with it dismembered.

The wind blows to unknown directions.
The ways of the heart foretold,
Whisp'ring things far beyond the seeing
And feelings coming from the cold.
Vastly, how vastly life perceives.
My soul with it dismembered.

Lost in depths of loneliness,
Reasons seem quite unclear.
Here lies another victim
No stranger to my fears.
Vastly, how vastly life perceives.
My soul with it dismembered.
