Is Not Love? Poem by Nathan Barkley

I open my eyes,
I look up to the sky's
And i begin to beg to god
that don't let this love
kill me
that beautiful women left me with
Because i dreamed with her heat and voice
even though at the same time it went destroying my heart
Kissing me with love and passion
But leaving on this skin full with pain and lies
How and Why does this confusion exist?
Isn't love happy and Pure?
Leaving you speechless
With out being deceitful, without fear, and with out maliciousness?
Growing with each tender, slow, and soft kiss
Leaving you breathless
Oh how much i care for you my love
I want to love you with out end, loving you for years
Many say 'love never fails'
I swear to you i'm trying
But why a'm i feeling that this love will end up full of despair?
