Is Simple Way Of Living Feasible In Modern World? Poem by Ramesh T A

Mahatma Gandhi comes to my mind, when I think of simple life;
To make his Independence Movement strong he dressed himself
Like the Poorest people living with great hardship in India then;
With non-violence, truth and love as weapon he succeed!

Just a dothi and towel he wire and move everywhere in public
Attracted all people till the end and politically he succeeded too;
It is clear dress is nothing to boost oneself but love and truth only
And showed how a true simple life can be lived to succeed ever!

After him nobody wears such simple dress to live simple life;
Such soul lived in this world means it is impossible to believe as
Albert Einstein said only, one can say, when we think of Gandhi;
It is guts to say something and follow it truly to win in any vow!

Simple living is really a happy way of living despite modernity;
But following that vow to win one needs the strong will of Gandhi!
