Is There A World Poem by Francis Duggan

Is There A World

Is there a World beyond the moon and stars
Far beyond jupiter, venus and mars
Where people live in peace and harmony
And love never does give rise to jealousy

A World free of anger and war and things that divide
Where nobody claims to have god on their side
Where wars over religion, culture, land and assets are never fought to be won
And the god they believe in is for everyone

Is there a World somewhere in outer space
Where people are not divided by culture and race
Where there is no monarch, celebrity or billionaire
And people with each other have love for to share

Where there is only joy where people do meet
And where for attention with each other they never compete
And they are unheard of success, wealth and fame
And everyone without a crime to their name

Is there a World somewhere beyond the sky
Where with wings post bodily death every good soul to does fly
Where love, peace and harmony ever abide
And is free of the things tthat are known to divide
