ISIS and donkey
Nesin is a Turkish
He wrote books
A writer.
Simple but meaningful
Familiar, cultural
For us all.
He wrote of:
Lamb to wolf
Shoe to cow
And donkey:
“It was old, left alone
And grazed on its own.
It heard noise and ignored
‘Is tiger, is it wolf? ’
‘My mistake, I am old’
And again, nearer
And again, resistance
‘My ears hear wrong’
And at last the claws
In skin felt the teeth
‘It is mean; the tiger
But sorry, it is late.’”
Same is now with ISIS.
In white House
And elsewhere
Our so called great men
(Holding reins)
The donkey’s duplicates.
