It Poem by Persephone Springs

It

It's like fighting
This is the kind of thing that usually makes me cry
But not now
Now I'm just angry
It's confusing
It's fighting something you can't see
It's putting a hat on a dog and calling it a turtle
Even though it's still really a dog
It's when I don't really know what I feel
It's anger, disappointment, exasperation, anxiety, resent
It's a terrible feeling in my stomach
Like I'm empty and full at the same time
It's trying to cry without tears
It's when everything in me explodes
And in the aftermath, I hate you

You have expressed IT ever so well and a great line......Its fighting something you can't see. Anger is one emotion best not shared. For me anger is extremely rare yet if I show the slightest amount I end up doing something clumsy. Thanks for sharing Kacie and welcome to PH
