Nothing!
shall I long for!
Nothing! but the dawn!
and the memory I buried
on that cemetery morning.
under tomb covered canyons
of marble white stone,
in the melancholy drizzile
upon the cover of the coffin
by a whisper of prayers
by an open earth grave
by my broken words
by my tears in the rain,
the soft, sweet melody
for only god she now sings,
by the ringing of the church bells! my mother! as she was bured!
EVERYTHING! that I long for!
NOTHING! I could want!
but the echo of a memory
of all that is gone
this is so beautiful and so sad, it touched my heart. I hope this is just poetry..............10
