It Comes To This - Poem by Dean Meredith

I am the white man
The pink man, the black man
The yellow man, the green man
The red man, the brown man
I am the woman
Who wants the man
And no man
And women of colours
More than the man
Clear and cream
Like him inside
Them and me
If only me
A man, a woman
Myself in her
And her in me
With all our colours
And all our nothings
No man, no woman
No in-between
Just beings, imperfect
Flawed and beauty
Humans being
Just being
