Hopeless Poem by Dean Meredith

Hopeless

Rating: 5.0

The desperate midnight clawings
Laid me wasted, blue and black
The constant sand-paper gnawings
Exposing me bare, unclad, off track

I wanted her, she wanted me
For a time, it all came blowing back
Under her shade, it couldn't be
All that I was, and all that I lack
