It Didn'T Seem Right Poem by Vera Sidhwa

It Didn'T Seem Right

It Didn't Seem Right

When you yelled at her for nothing,
It didn't seem right.
And her aches and her pains,
Didn't matter to you.

When you screamed at her for nothing,
It seemed you could care less.
For you nothing at all mattered,
When she fell sick.

You believed you were invincible,
And nothing could hurt you back.
You were hollow inside.
It was empathy you lacked.
