It is alone i am
And when alone i am can
Explore be what am not
Permitted by all that would be

An opinion be
As to what should and could
And what would if not
This am be

And yet i wish i could
If only for an hour
With you be you
Who are so far
Far removed from me
And all that i am or can

for i know
How know i cannot say
But this know this
That we could be

One could be
And that this would be
More than either of us

could dare to whisper
