It Is Me - Poem by Francis Julian Zewu

There are songs that the trees sings
When the wind blows
And it is only you and I
That shares Its melody
Holding us in each others arms

So close

Dancing to Its soft tunes
Just to tell I loved you for the very first time i saw you
Just to tell what you meant to me and even now
An idol, a goddess you are to me now
This tells why-and-how I loved you
You and I mean only you

It is me...

Silence i keep within
Waiting and holding on thin
With every desperation
Just to break that moment with you
When we knew nothing but just us

Shh shhh...

It is me...
