It Is Not Easy Darling Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

It is not easy Darling,
It is quite hard, you see,
To live our Life in comfort,
And forever, happy be.

For we are Human, Darling,
With Faults, and Good and Bad,
We must try to live in harmony,
Lest we forever be sad.

Life has its Ups and Downs,
Its Curves, and Hills and Bumps,
The road ahead is never straight,
And over hurdles we must jump.

It is not easy Darling,
When hardship hits us now,
To try to ‘tighten up our belts’,
And spend less now ~ somehow.

It is not easy Darling,
As we Age and our Health does go,
Perhaps, if we slowdown our pace,
Many more years we both will know.
