It is the Least I could do

Through the chaos
Through it all
I will work hard for you
To protect you from chaos
And every bad thing
That tries to come your way
I will do everything to protect you

I could be pushed down
Have each teeth kicked in
Crowds could decimate me
But I would fight on strong
Someway, somehow
As I shall get back up
And battle on
Just for you

I will guard you
Protect that beauty of yours
Even if I were to take all the pain away
It would be my honor
To take it all away from you


I will take it all
Every bit of punishment that I can


Falling but standing tall
Over and over again
Even if these bones break
And this flesh bleeds of punishment
I will keep rising
Over and over again


I will be your shield from it all
Even if all the swords of society
Starts digging in
I shall sacrifice everything
Till I can no longer be of use
Yet, I will always be there
No matter what
Some way or another
Fighting on stronger
Than I have ever fought before





Why would I do this?
Because I believe in all things beautiful
In the sacred aspects of who I am
Fighting for what I feel is right
Fighting for all that I have ever believed


I may not be much
To some extent
Perhaps many
But I fight
For what is right
Against the wrong doings
Upon that for which I care for
It is who I am
Or who I would like to be


I just want keep fighting on
For the beauty of it all
Scratching and crawling
Till I can no longer
Scratch and crawl anymore


Never do I care for the accolades
Nor to be the hero for the day
Just someone who is there
Taking everything that I could ever take
So you will never have to feel pain again


I am dedicated to you
Through and through
A warrior in my own ways
Trying to make you feel the best
That you could ever feel
The safest you could ever be
Freer that you have ever been free
It is the least I could ever do


Through the chaos
Through it all
Even if I get knocked down
I will get back up
I will stand tall
I do not care how these words are read
I just want to be there for you
