It's.....
It's not the now
Though it is not easy
It's not the then
Which was a test of all
Mind, body, heart and spirit
Then and now will pass
Like a savage storm
Which will be weathered
Eventually overcome
It's the thereafter
The what comes next
The picking up the pieces
In the solitary remains
When thoughts overwhelm
When tears eventually break
And the totality of it all
Hits hard
