It's Not

but is
saying

'I meant to come here
to where I am
after first visiting you,
and then to visit you again
on leaving here, '

saying

'I meant to visit you
on the way to here
then visit you again on leaving, '

and would
having left out the earlier police van reference
made its appearance at the end of '...The Holy Grail'
make less, therefore more, sense?
