It's Only Politics

The time has come again
to sling some mud my friend,
It's enough to make one sick,
It's only politics.

Just listen to the wind
As they begin to blow
Falsely making accusations
about the things that they don't know.

It's only politics
Kick ' em to the ground
It really makes me sick
as they slam each other down.

One says, he'll do this
while the other says he'll do that
They are wasting money
trying to buy their way in...

Something is amiss
I'm stating, 'Just the facts',
It's only politics
Here we go again.

I've got my eyes wide open
and this is what I see..
not one of them are worthy
to get a vote from me..

It's only politics
who is laying money down?
We'll see who gets the vote
when the election comes around.
