I was a different person not that long ago.
So different from today, a person you didn't know.
A person filled with sadness - with tears in his eyes.
You weren't aware of the silent painful tears that I cried.

Yet you came into my life - you shone a torch right through.
You saw I needed someone and that someone was you.
To hold and to love me through everything I do,
Someone who was needy of a love so strong and true.

Waking up to see your face,
Is in my heart the perfect place.
Seeing you at the start of every day,
Is a perfect morning in every way.

Without you now my life would be dull,
As if someone had removed the very hull
Of a ship that floats in the sea of our love,
A match made in the stars above.

In your arms I'm tightly curled,
I love the fact that I'm your world.
When I'm wrapped up in your arms,
I'm safe away from the world and it's harms.

You can make me happy and you can make me sad,
You can make me laugh and you can drive me mad.
Yet my heart still skips a beat,
Everytime our lips do meet.

My life and their plans went out of the window one very happy day,
When God sent a love heading my way.
My plans are redundant - now old and obsolete,
Because whatever we do together will make my life complete.

Only two things are certain in my life,
They carry me on through the trouble and strife,

The first is that our love is true

The second is that I want to spend forever with you.
