I opened up my heart
When I spoke to you
I told you the truth
Just like I always do

I spoke from my heart
As tears fell from my eyes
I wasn't sure what to do
But I knew I had to try

I held you close to me
Which is always great
I just hope and pray
That it's not too late

I love you very much
Just like I've always done
When it comes to woman
You've always been number one

No one could take your place
There's no one else for me
Please say that we can try again
So together we can be

I promise to be there
