It Takes A Man Poem by Gary James Smith

It Takes A Man

It Takes A Man

It takes a man to have spirital thirst
Before he sees his need
For the things of earth can never satisfy
Wise to this it is to take heed
Pleasures of the world have a heavy cost
We know how it takes its toll
Payday to payday struggling
For what you thought would feed yoir soul

But there's a liberty to be had for the asking
The cost is absolutely free
For it was paid on your behalf by another
Praise God for Calvary
Look up my friend look up
There's life in the Crucified One
The Light of the world is Jesus Christ
God's only begotten Son

Don't you reckon it's time for your time
To make youself reconciled to God
Acquaint thyself with your Maker
Delve into the things of the Lord
Prayer can bring about wonderful changes
Try prayer for yourself and you'll see
The Father will swiftly meet your heart cry
And repentance will bring liberty! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
