It Was Pretty Amazing Grace Poem by Gert Strydom

It Was Pretty Amazing Grace

It was pretty amazing grace
when I saw you
walking to me
through the garden with a quick pace

and there were butterflies
in our large garden
and a few bees turning around,
a few doves cooing in the trees

and you smiled at me
the same beautiful smile
of years before, with your dazzling eyes
burning deep into mine
and this moment was everything
as if all of life do come to a single kiss.
