It Was Time

I'm reading a couple of classics
that I haven't as yet:
'84 and Moby Dick (or Plato) .

Re the versificator poem in '84,
the one that changes day to dye
and away to awye
and say to sye,
sye no more.

As for Moby D (or Plato) ,
I began beyond the start
and am reading the tale
backwards and forwards,
as a crew runs 'cutting-in
and attending to a whale'.

To read backwards you will reach the front. Then, you start again.
