Its Happened Once Again! Poem by Nikunj xyz

It has happened all over again,
Hundreds have been left dead,
On the day when the pink city was painted red,
The innocent have fallen prey again,
Peace loving people having to suffer the pain,
But its not first but has happened all over again,
when ordinary people have paid for others selfish gains,
Moans and screams and cries are the only sound in the street,
funeral pyres are the only lights in sight,
But even more deafening is the silence,
And even more blinding is darkness,
Left in the lives of the people who have lost loved ones,
To the heinous terrorist acts,
That continue to occur again and again,
Fortunate ones can only imagine their pains,
But although their suffering we may never understand,
We can pledge to be united and hold hands,
and promise to rise up and take stand,
And try our best to prevent,
This cowardly and vandalistic acts,
From happening again and again,
We dont need to succumb and feel helpless,
Against such deeds,
For to fight against them,
Courage and unity is the only thing we need!
