It's Mahalaya Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

It's Mahalaya

The grassy white kash blooms have
Sprouted and flowered,
Cchatim blossoms in clusters lie in
Hanging from so fragrantly,
Redolent dew-laden tender seulis
Lie in scattered around,
All telling about the autumnal arrival
Of Bhagwati, Devi Durga,
Mahamaya, Yoginidevi
With the end of the Pitri-paksha
With tarpana and a holy dip
And looking in oblation,
Seeking blessings for
And with the beginning of the Matri-paksha
To herald a new mood of reverence.
