Its Middle Name Is Love Poem by Holly Jamestone

Its Middle Name Is Love

There are places I was meant to be
Ideas to behold
Lyrics seeking melodies
A story to unfold

Along the way I realized
The secret to all bliss
Was based upon intangibles
A glance, a hug, a kiss

The place that I was meant to be
Is deep in love's embrace
Looking into caring eyes
A gentle, calming face

The greatest gift this world has known
Is always in our reach
Gracing us with wisdom
The ability to teach

That if you look inside yourself
The answer there to greet you
Guides you toward the key to life
Which gladly waits to meet you

The magic that eludes us
Is not just from skies above
But rests within our hearts and souls
