You can keep your Flutes and Saxophones
You can blow them all the day
You can have your mutes and valves and things
For me, strings all the way.
You can have your bells and whistles
bash your drums until you're blue
the strings will always sound the best
more lovely when they're new.
You can keep your big bassoons
and all the wood-winds with their reeds
nothing but the strings will do
to satisfy my needs.
So now you know, my secret's out
strings for my new guitar
will very soon be bought because
they are the best by far.
