I've Found It Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

I've Found It

High hopes on me, that's what they got,
When they see me, they wanna talk a lot.
Thankful for praise, every clap and cheer,
God worked on my mind, kept me right here.

Dark thoughts came, a heavy rain,
Lost friends, just pain.
Men walked away, left me alone,
Trusted too much, that's what I've known.

Been crossed, been low, played the game,
But I stood strong, called out His name.
Every stumble, every fall,
I rise again, standing tall.

My life's a test, belief put to the fire,
Some wish I'd quit, let my dreams expire.
Dying is easy, a simple release,
But I'm living this life, finding inner peace.
