it is now 70 years plus since visionary Dutch toiled to prevent
floods in Jakarta with their dams drains built flood preventions
what great noble list of Mayors and Governors has held office?

in prime regional government district Jakarta in Indonesia
after Indonesian independence in 1945 to safeguard the city?
15 men have held this position since World War two ended?

none completed carried on visionary Dutch flood schemes
from 1965 to 2007 military Lt-Generals or Maj-Generals
served in office post regional government district of Jakarta

a fat lot of good their rule time for citizens change change?
now Governors of Indonesian provinces including Jakarta
are chosen via popular election purchased promise elections
