Janmashtami Night Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Janmashtami Night

The night is dark and lonely,
It is silence inside and outside,
It is raining
And the folks whispering about
Vasudeva and Devaki,
The fall of the lock,
The Divine Baby taken to
Crossing the Yamuna in waters
As for to hand over to Nanda and Yasoda.
