January Moon Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

January Moon

Rating: 5.0

On a night when darkness overtakes…
The moon’s luminosity is very bright
Upon the land covered with snowflakes
Radiance emanates from the white

Joining hands with the moon… placid snow
Illuminating the scene with glorious light
No need for a dim lantern path that is narrow
An open gaze is in awe of the wondrous sight

Winter’s grasp is loosened by a gentle caress
Serene beauty is created from a perfect union
Stillness blankets my thoughts with aloneness
Oneness is at peace…absorbed into the fusion
