January Parting Poem by peter rodenby

January Parting

Rating: 5.0

I
Tried
Catching
Her tears
From sad
Pathetic eyes
But
They slowly
Trickled
Through my fingers
Dissolving the white unfeeling snow.

you should try writing tanka or haiku. there is a feel of those elements in this poem.
