Jealous Poem by Emily Velasco

Jealous

Rating: 5.0

am jealous of the rain that touches your skin

jealous of the moon that stares at you all night

jealous of the stars you see when you close your eyes

jealous of someone whose lips speak your name

Jealous of the time you always chase and wouldn't want to miss

Jealous of that space next to you occupied by someone else

Jealous of that smile you give to someone else.

Jealous ofthat someone else you remember when it was me with you in this place

Ohhh, this is death slowly putting me to rest 🙄
