Jester Poem by William Kofoed

Jester

Everyone here

Important is

Dignified and proper

Beyond reproach

Not a one

Would ever

Say such

Hint even

Never

Yet one must

There is need

Do the undoable

Say the words

A jester a fool

Without honor

Without worth

To low to touch

May say the words

Bring it to light

And be safe

To live tomorrow

To speak again

A jester
