Jesus Arms
Today is the day,
I begin a new journey.
I plan to reach the stars.
I plan to touch the sky.
Today is the day,
I soar from the past.
I leave all past failures and tears behind.
Looking toward, what's ahead,
no pain, no torment, no demons to carry.
All my burdens left behind,
buried so deep,
never to appear.
Peaceful days are here to stay,
loving moments lasting always,
no tears for me,
my time has come.
Here I lay down to rest.
Dry your eyes, I'm in peace.
Now I sleep in Jesus arms.
