Jesus Christ, The Saviour Of The World! Poem by Denis Martindale

Jesus Christ, The Saviour Of The World!

When Christians speak of Jesus Christ, what symbols will they use?
Perhaps His Blood, so highly prized they call it God's Good News?
Perhaps as water turned to wine? A feast beyond compare?
Perhaps to serve as Christ's first sign that God would hear His prayer?

When Christians speak of Jesus Christ, what wonders will unfold?
Perhaps Hosannas in the highest when Palm Sunday's retold?
Perhaps of Christ, the King of Kings, Good Shepherd, Lord of Lords?
Perhaps the Judge who knows all things who will grant us rewards?

When Christians speak of Jesus Christ, what message will they share?
Perhaps the Saviour sacrificed? Our precious souls to spare?
Perhaps presenting love and light with guidance every day?
Perhaps of Heaven's Throne, so bright, it takes our breath away?

Each Christian has a tale to tell of what Christ truly means,
Beyond the Scriptures known so well, from films and TV scenes.
Such stories that are theirs to own, of what the Lord has done,
Because He saved their souls alone! Because Christ is God's Son!
