Desires of a difference I dream
A difference to the world I have seemed
But indeed just a hypocrite i am
My outside is my dream me
But my inside is it’s opposite
Many dream to be like ‘me’
Knowing not I do dream the same
I paint a picture of an ideal being
But in the hidden, I fall to sin
I want to be a testimony
Like the piano producing such harmony
However; I didnt want to show my black and white keys
It is difficult to concede to this reality
But indeed the contrast brings the beauty;
Shows the magnificence of the pianist
And the awe in music:
Oh Lord to you I bring
my black notes and my whites
I plead and desire to cling
On the only white -Christ's- that can make my black bling;
Take my sin make me clean
And in it still make a testimony.
