Jewish Girls Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Jewish Girls

Jewish Girls

Hate my job; still is what I love
I am good to be sold, treats me as slave
They buy me; buy my time to resell.

In their minds I am a
Mindless cow or crow
A sheep, goat, spare part.

This fire, box of nails
Discomforts, causes pain
Flames rise, cook details.

Job sends me to Bathurst
Penguins everywhere
With their hats
Also ropes.

Here are Jewish Girls
Well-dressed and descent
Ankle long are skirts
It is the "No work day"

And I look and enjoy
In such sight I go sail
My ship is history
Expertise, memories.

I am in Esfahan
And Alley, Jewish one
I am warned: "They suck blood."
Also I recall the trip with
David in Bolivia…

On such day they do not make fire
From house women call:
"Can you help, will you come…? "
Need our help for the light.

And here see girls walk and watch and I like them.

Want to be a Jewish; only on Saturdays…
