Johannesburg ~ Johanesburg Poem by Jankovic Zoran

Johannesburg ~ Johanesburg

He asks me:
"You know Johannesburg?
Did you live there? "

I turn my head to
the cold wind of memories
and as if to answer them:

"No, a woman lives there.
She not reside long ago in my heart.
Said stupidly once that
was just a tenant in one's soul.
She didn't say his name.

I know that in my heart
she wouldn't to pay the rent,
but she was a non-permanent
as tenant room on the mansard
of the tenements
that is rents for one day."

Johanesburg

Pita me:
"Ti poznaješ Johaneburg?
Da li si tamo živio? "

Okrećem glavu ka vjetru uspomena
i kao da njemu odgovaram:

"Nisam. Tamo živi žena koja
odavno ne stanuje u mom srcu.
Glupavo je jednom rekla
da je bila samo podstanar
u nečijoj duši.
Nije rekla ime te duše.

Znam da u mom srcu ne bi
morala plaćati kiriju,
ali ona je bila nestalna kao
podstanarska soba na mansardi
oronule zgrade koja se
iznajmljuje za jedan dan."
