John Devine Poem by SharonAnn Dawson

John Devine

It was such a laugh, us four an the new one, the boys the girls an the new one, the crew night out. ' jus cruisin' you said to me baby 'jus cruisin'. Honey i nearly went cruisin in an ambulance to the nearest hospital, i nearly went cruisin through the windscreen of some random persons car because of your so called boss jockying. If it wasnt for him i wudnt be writing this to you, I would be haunting you from my grave, but im writing this to you, because of him/thanks to him. he kept me here, he is my god, you are my demon, I hate what you did, I love what he did. But I can forgive, I can love you again one day. I can never forgive myself/love myself though for allowing you to do that to us, to the crew. the boys the girl and the new one would be no more, I hate that.
