Devoted to her husband Sean and their children and honourable in every way
And there is so much to like about in kind hearted Josie Fay
And to the good St Therese for soul sustenance she pray
And she's a moral and good person who makes a new friend every day.

Though nothing easy has come her way and she has never known the easy life
She plays the parts superbly of the good mother and wife
And despite work and family commitments her free time she is prepared to spare
In helping in her community for she is socially aware.

I know of so many so called devout people who don't live up to that name
But of the lovely Josie Fay one cannot say the same
To a higher set of principles she steadfastly remains true
And sad to think her sort of person has always been too few.

She too has her human frailties for she is human after all
But when I think of good people I've met she is one I do recall
For she is one of those rare people who still has her child within
And that is a great achievement in a World of so much sin.

Even of unworthy people only kind things she does say
And her equal as a person one don't meet with every day
And for to help out other people she goes out of her way
That good and kind hearted woman the unsung heroine Josie Fay.
