Journey - Unaccompanied Poem by Gunadevi Rajaratnam

Journey - Unaccompanied

Journey -unaccompanied

Whenmy life comes to the end on this earth,
I donotwantanyoneto grief or cry for me,
I am free of all my burdens and sorrows,
I wantyouto know I am with my creator.

Thelove thefamilyonce shared,
Will always tend to shed tears,
Don'tcry I am in a betterplace,
We will meet, When the time comes.

I won't take anything when I leave this world,
Onlythe loveand good things I did,
When the purposeof our earthly visit is over,
God takes all of us, one by one.

This journey isspecial in everyrespect,
We don't see anyone goingwith us,
Just an unaccompaniedjourney,
Journeythat will be in memory.
